Multiple Open Positions for Ph.D. Candidate for Spring 2025 and Fall 2025.

  • Power Management System (PMS) Group Opening – Positions for Ph.D. Candidate for Spring 2025 and Fall 2025:ARMAG has openings for a Ph.D. Candidate for Spring 2025 and Fall 2025 for PMS group with applications for edge computing IoT and high-performance computing platforms for sensing and communications. The position requires strength in ultra-low power, low voltage, integrated analog, power management, and digital circuit design, circuit & system optimization using machine learning, and good command of English in verbal and writing skills for documentation. It will be preferable for the candidate to have strength in using MatLab, Cadence, or ADS to perform a theoretical analysis of system-level design.   • mm-Wave Group Opening – Position for Ph.D. Candidate for Spring 2025 and Fall 2025: ARMAG has another opening for a Ph.D. Candidate for Spring 2025 and Fall 2025 for the mm-Wave group. The research focus of the groups is on mm-wave 5G and 6G beamforming applications, such as AR/VR with 3D holography, connected vehicles, digital twin, etc. The position requires strength in ultra-low power, low voltage, integrated analog, RF, and digital circuit design, circuit & system optimization using machine learning, and good command of English in verbal and writing skills for documentation. It will be preferable for the candidate to have strength in using MatLab, Simulink, Cadence, or ADS to perform a theoretical analysis of system-level design. Opening Position for Post Doctoral Candidate

  • Opening Position for Post Doctoral Candidate: ARMAG has an opening for a postdoctoral position. The position will play a role in CMOS or SiGe IC design with Ph.D. students. The position needs a great deal of use of CAD tools such as ADS, ADS MOMENTUM, HFSS, and Cadence Design Tool for the design, simulation, and layout of integrated circuits. The position requires strength in high quality, ultra-low power, low voltage, integrated analog, RF, and digital circuit design, and good command of English in verbal and writing skills for documentation. Familiarity with machine learning optimization techniques will be a plus. It will be preferable for the candidate to have strength in using MatLab, Simulink, or ADS to perform a theoretical analysis of system-level design and using Unix/Linux OS, and Shell scripting.
